Tour Details

Day 01 : Arrive Airport – Colombo (Approx. 50mins | 40 km)

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Colombo. On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Evening city tour in Colombo. Spend overnight at a Hotel in Colombo on Bed & Breakfast basis. You guide will give a small introduction about the tour and start the walk. Along the way, you will explore a handful of the many lively streets that sell everything from textiles to electronics to spices. Hidden within these streets you will find yourselves coming up to the Old Dutch Museum where you can feast your eyes on the pristine architecture of the mansion that was built in the latter part of the 17th century and was initially the residence of Count August Carl Van Ranzow. Thereafter, you will proceed to the commercial hub of Colombo, Fort, where you will find another colonial gem, the Old Dutch Hospital; once a functional hospital during the 17th century, the complex is now hosting to high-end restaurants, bars, and shops. Your host will stop here for a drink with you and give you time to admire this location but be warned that if the photographer's eye in your host sees the possibilities of a spectacular sunset, you may be rushed through drinks so that you will move on to the lighthouse just in time. The walk will come to an end at the historic Galle Face hotel, the oldest hotel east of the Suez, via a half kilometer walk along the Galle Face Green promenade that is usually busy with young and old a like, Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 02 : Colombo– Dambulla/ Sigiriya (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

Breakfast at Hotel.Proceed to Dambulla/ Sigiriya .En-route visit Dambulla Cave Temple .Check-in to Hotel . Spend overnight at Hotel in Dambulla/Sigiriya on Bed & Breakfast basis. Proceed Dambulla Cave temple is one of the most impressive and well-preserved cave temples in Asia. This complex contains five caves with over 2000 sqm. of painted walls and ceilings. This emphasizes the artistic talents of the people lived in this small island. Due to its artistic & archaeological values, Dambulla Cave temple has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 03 : Dambulla/ Sigiriya- Polonnaruwa- Dambulla/ Sigiriya

Sigiriya Rock Fortress
In the 5th century, King Kashyapa domesticated the Lions Rock, by building a palace atop its summit & well designed for its defenses by having ramparts and moats built around it. The Rock itself has its unique identity due to its shape not found anywhere else on the island.
Sigiriya Village Experience
This Village tour begins with a short walk along to a man-made reservoir. This beautiful village is surrounded by scrub jungle, marshlands, and agricultural farms. The amazing birdlife, butterflies and possible sightings of crocodile only add to the charm of seeing the villagers as they go tasks of fishing, or washing clothes at the periphery of the lake. You will experience a boat ride, bullock cart ride, rural vegetable cultivation and paddy fields.

Ancient City of Polonnaruwa
Polonnaruwa remains as one of the best planned archeological relic sites in the country, which was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1982. This is a well-preserved city with ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and stunningly beautiful statues. The Sea of Parakrama, a vast 12th- century man-made water reservoir is also one of the main highlights in this wonderful ancient city. Moreover, this is one of the best ancient cities in the country that gives a big experience within a short period of time as the monuments are in a more compact area.

Day 04 : Dambulla/ Sigiriya – Kandy (Approx. 3 hrs and 30 min. drive)

For centuries, spices have been one of the most celebrated exports in Sri Lanka. They have been used for medicines, cosmetics as well as to flavor foods. History says that the Greeks, Arabs & Malays had linked with Sri Lankan business field through spice trade. Spices provide ground for traditional Ayurveda.

Kandy City Tour
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour in Kandy. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. During this city tour, you will cover Bahirawakanda temple, upper lake drive, art and craft center, cultural show and Kandy temple.

Starting in the evening, Kandy cultural show captivates your ears and eyes with spectacular displays of local culture and art. You will see drummers, fire dancers, and more in a cultural spectacle covering various aspects of Sri Lanka’s traditions in this one- hour show.

Day 05 : Kandy- Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 3.5 hrs drive)

On your way, you will see acres & acres of greenery, tea plantations all around. Step into a tea factory and experience the glimpse of Ceylon tea making process and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. 
Ramboda waterfalls
Also visit Ramboda waterfalls. It is 109 m (358 ft.) high and has recommended as the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945m (3,100 ft.) above sea level. Don’t forget to visit Ramboda main waterfall at the downside of the Ramboda of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka.
Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya, Known as Little England, the town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows. During this tour you will visit Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, 19th century Golf Club and drive around the city.

Day 06 : Nuwara Eliya-Bentota/Beruwala(Approx. 5.5 hrs drive)

St. Clair’s & Devon Waterfalls
Visit to St. Clair’s is one of the twin waterfall of Devon, which together provides one of the most breathtaking waterfall sights in Sri Lanka to any visitor. This is perhaps the only place in Sri Lanka where you can view two magnificent waterfalls, each distinctly different, from the same vantage point.
Whitewater Rafting
Whitewater rafting in Kelani river does not require a higher degree of rafting skills or swimming experience. This thrilling adventure ride is suitable even for the people who are experimenting it for the first time as the rapids of Kalani River are graded with 2 and 3. Some of the rapids are named with unique names such as Virgin’s Breast, Killer Falls, Butter Crunch and Head Chopper. Be ready to swim in the river whilst enjoying this wonderful ride along one of the most picturesque rivers in the country.

Day 07 : Bentota/Beruwala

Breakfast Hotel .Excursion to Galle Dutch fort .City tour in Galle .Back to Bentota/ Beruwala . Enjoy River Safari at Madu Ganga (Optional). Spend overnight at Hotel in Bentota/ Beruwala.
Galle Dutch Fort
Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese in 1588, and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work was done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. The heritage value of the fort has been recognized by the UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Madu Ganga Boat Ride
Located in Balapitiya, Madu Ganga is famous for its unique mangrove vegetation lines and caves. A relatively unspoiled lagoon, the Madu Ganga estuary is a 915-hectare complex coastal wetland ecosystem that opens to the Indian Ocean. In this boat trip, you can see kraal-fishing constructions and fishermen making their way in rowing boats to collect their day's catch. The occasional blue kingfisher flies near the kraal, a pond heron stands tall in the water and other wetland birds are arisen from their slumber. Worship at temple island, fish therapy and visit to a cinnamon island are some of the activities you do during this boat ride.

Day 08 : Bentota/ Beruwala- Airport (Approx. 2 hrs drive)

Breakfast at Hotel. As all good things come to an end, you will be safely driven to the airport for your flight back home having sweet memories of the tour.
